Abstract

There is a dichotomy in our discipline regarding the merits of the quantitative approach as opposed to the more literary and descriptive traditions. Many of the proponents of the latter approach fail to recognise the advantages of quantitative analysis. To illustrate the folly of this attitude let us take a particular case study.
