Author Biography

  • Peadar Donohoe

    Peadar Donohoe is a lecturer at MTU Cork School of Music and a writer and theatre director. He is well known for creating “The Shakespeare Sessions” which are abridged versions of Shakespeare’s plays which include original material that break the fourth wall and invite learner interaction, participation and discussion. The upcoming Shakespeare Session for the 2021-22 school year will be, "Othello: The Colour of Skin". This adaptation of Shakespeare's classic is set in the American South and focuses on the theme of racism through the lens of The Black Lives Matter Movement.
